Art and Design
has been an intrinsic part of my life since I was very young. I have always
felt the need to scribble, to sketch, to express and communicate my ideas
through drawing and creativity. Therefore, I am foremost an illustrator,
particularly specialising in children's book artwork. I get the most
satisfaction from being 'hands-on' and working with paints, charcoal and fine
liners, but I think my best work is always achieved using simply a pencil and
paper. I love drawing what I can see in front of me, then using my imagination
to add a different perspective. I am inspired by my family, nature and the
busy world we live in.
